Important note: The Brisbane International Cruise Terminal is only open on days when a cruise ship is at berth.  If you are travelling to and parking at the BICT, please note there is only paid parking onsite which must be booked online in advance through Wilson Parking.

GETTING AROUND

The Brisbane International Cruise Terminal building is set over two floors connected via travelators and two passenger lifts.

The cruise lines will have friendly staff available throughout the terminal to assist passengers or you can visit the information counter just inside the main building entrance.

Please confirm your check-in and boarding details with your cruise line before arriving and advise them if you require special assistance. Our Cruise Contacts page has a list of cruise lines that call at the terminal.

Cruise staff will be located throughout the terminal to assist passengers.

For assistance with lost property or first aid, please contact a cruise staff member for assistance or visit the information counter inside the building on the ground floor. There are trained first aiders at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal to assist if required.

There are no luggage trolleys available at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, however cruise lines will have staff ready to assist passengers with their luggage upon arrival into the Plaza Area.

Power points are located within the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal building if you need to charge your mobile devices. These are Australian Standard General Power Outlets (230V, 10amp, three-pin plug layout). 

There are no USB charging stations at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, so remember to have your cord and charger handy!

Public Wi-Fi will be available at the cruise terminal. 

The safety and wellbeing of all passengers, staff and visitors to the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal is our highest priority.  COVID-19 health protocols will be determined by the Government in consultation with the cruise lines – relevant information will be included on our website closer to the terminal’s opening.

GENERAL

On cruise days, the terminal will be busy with pedestrians, cars and other vehicles. Please follow all road and parking signage and drive slowly on the internal roads and within the cruise terminal’s car parking areas.

All pedestrians must remain on the footpaths and within pedestrian areas at all times, particularly when transiting between the car parks and the terminal building.

If you require assistance at any time, please contact a member of the onsite security staff or the cruise lines. The First Aid room is located inside the terminal on the ground floor, underneath the travelator closest to the main building entrance.

Most of the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal is a designated ‘no smoking’ area. However, there is a signed smoking area located along the river near Car Park 1 for passengers, their guests and staff.

There are male, female and unisex accessible toilets, as well as a parents room, on each floor inside the terminal building. 

A Tourist Refund Scheme is available at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal.

It is located on Level 1 in the Immigration Area, near the entrance to the elevated passenger walkway. You will need to have a printed receipt of your purchase.

The Cruise Café is located on the ground floor of the terminal building.  It is open at 7am on cruise days serving coffee, light bites, snacks and hot/cold drinks.
