2018-2048 MASTER PLAN
PBPL has recently completed its 2018-2048 Master Plan. Click below for the full document.
The Port of Brisbane (PBPL) Master Plan 2018-2048 is a non-statutory requirement of PBPL’s 99-year lease with the Queensland State Government. This document is required to be updated every 5 years to address the Port Lessee’s:
- development objectives and proposals for the Port;
- assessment of the future port service and facility needs;
- intentions for land reclamation and related development at the Port;
- assessment of the future use of the port area including general amenity impacts of planned port operations on the areas surrounding the port; and
- assessment of environmental issues that might reasonably be expected to be associated with the implementation of the plan and plans for dealing with, ameliorating or preventing environmental impacts.
More broadly, it is intended that the Master Plan will guide PBPL’s land use planning and its Vision… “To be Australia's leading port, here for the future”.
