 TYPICAL JOURNEY OF A DISEMBARKING PASSENGER

This video aims to show the typical journey of a disembarking passenger from their cruise ship through the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal.
 
 If you have assistance needs or questions regarding your cruise or disembarkation procedures, please contact your cruise line prior to arrival.
 
 Please be advised that some information may change, subject to specific operational requirements. This video is intended as a guide only.
 
 To disembark the vessel, you will transit through the Passenger Boarding Bridge
 
 The distance through the bridge is a maximum of 55 metres
 
 The gradient of the bridge may vary, depending on the location of the cruise ship’s doors and the tide
 
 There are seats at the halfway point, if required
 
 The width throughout the bridge ranges from 1000 millimetres to 1800 millimetres
 
 Passengers enter the elevated walkway, which provides safe access to and from the terminal building
 
 All passengers must travel the length of the walkway, which is a maximum distance of 270 metres and is approximately 3.5 metres wide
 
 There are hand rails and seated rest stops provided along the walkway, at each junction where it turns
 
 Approximately 60 metres, 120 metres, 180 metres, 240 metres and 270 metres from the terminal building entrance
 
 If you are on an international cruise, you may be required to pass through Immigration
 
 This area is managed by Australian Border Force
 
 Passengers can transit down to the ground floor via lift or travelator
 
 The travelator has a mezzanine level mid-way
 
 Baggage is collected from the Baggage Hall
 
 Passengers then proceed to the Customs Area
 
 If you have been on an international cruise, you may be required to pass through Customs with your luggage
 
 This area is managed by Australian Border Force
 
 Once you exit customs, you will enter the main concourse area and can exit the terminal building.
 
 If catching a chartered coach, the coach bay is located approximately 40 metres from the building entrance.
 
 If you are being picked up by a private vehicle, the 2-minute passenger pick up and set down area is located 40 metres from the building entrance and has accessible parking bays.
 
 The taxi rank is located approximately 120 metres from the terminal building via an undercover walkway and has accessible bays.
 
 If being picked up by rideshare, the rideshare zone is 120 metres from the building entrance.
 
 If you require the use of an accessible parking bay, your rideshare driver can pick you up in the 2-minute passenger pick up and set down area in front of the terminal building. You must be ready and waiting at the kerb.
