THE HYDROGRAPHIC SOLUTIONS TEAM FLEET
The Hydrographic Solutions team is supported by a dedicated fleet of three specialist in-shore and coastal surveying vessels and support craft, permanently equipped with some of the most technologically advanced seabed mapping and terrestrial laser systems available today.
THE JIM PEEL
Predominantly used offshore, the Jim Peel is a 16m single hull survey vessel and is fitted with the latest Reson Seabat T-50P high resolution multibeam sonar system in a moon pool configuration. The Jim Peel has also been fitted with an innovative deployment shute for the safe utilisation of towed magnetometers or side scan sonars.
The Jim Peel crew can also be fully self-sufficient for extended periods.
THE INVESTIGATOR
The Investigator is a 9.8m single hull survey vessel, with a fully enclosed cabin design enabling it to operate in most weather conditions. The vessel is also fitted with a bow thruster, making it ideal for tight manoeuvring within marinas, canals, and the port environment.
A customised moon pool design allows the Reson Seabat 7125-SV2 high resolution multibeam sonar to be tilted at a 30 degree angle to enable multibeam data around difficult applications such rock walls, piles, canal estates and shallow inshore areas to be surveyed.
THE NAVIGATOR
The Navigator is a 6.0m Catamaran survey vessel with a fully enclosed cabin design enabling it to operate in most moderate weather conditions.
A customised moon pool design houses the Reson Seabat 8125-Hydbrid high resolution multibeam sonar, permanently tilted at a 15 degree angle. This enables the collection of multibeam data in difficult environments such as rock wall and marine infrastructure monitoring, canal estate mapping and surveying shallow inshore areas.
This vessel is fitted 2x115HP outboards, making it ideal for tight manoeuvring within marinas, canals and the port environment. The vessel comes with a purposed built trailer to enable it to be either towed or sailed to site.
