CRUISE UPDATE (25 SEPTEMBER 2023)
The Federal Government’s restriction on cruise ships entering Australian waters ended on 17 April 2022 and the first vessel called at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal (BICT) on 2 June 2022.
On 25 August 2023, the Australian Government rescinded the remaining COVID protocols for the cruise industry. Tourism and Events Queensland (Queensland Government) provides an update and health information for cruise ship passengers on its website here.
